Dear Internets, I promise I will do better. Beginning in approximately 3.5 weeks when, you know, we move to England.

Bad: Leaving our apartment, our very first married apartment.
Good: Having my own space in which to work in our new furnished flat.

Bad: Selling our car, the very first car that I bought when I started my very first job.
Good: Not having to drive for the next 3 to 5 years. I have a hard enough time driving on the right side of the road, let alone the wrong side.

Bad: Leaving our cats behind, the very cats that Stephan raised from wee baby kittens who squeezed between the refrigerator and the wall to their current respective weights of 19 and 21 pounds.
Good: They get to come too, after June 14. And meanwhile, they get to hang out with Fake Uncle Adriaan.

Bad: No Netflix, Target, or New Seasons.
Good: Costco, Ikea, and Amazon.co.uk rents DVDs.

Also, you know, culture and castles and the birthplace of stuff.
